The Ellery ADU Studio Rancho Cucamonga Guarantee
When you sign with us, you get a written guarantee before we touch your property. That’s not marketing language. It’s Haven Standard Clause 1, and it means your garage conversion in Etiwanda or your new detached ADU near Victoria Gardens arrives at one locked price, documented on paper, with no door-side upsells and no scope creep. We’ve designed, permitted, and built over 900 ADUs since 2015, and every single project started with that written price and ended with a documented photo record of what was found and what was done. In Rancho Cucamonga, where the city requires specific setback calculations and fire separation distances that differ from Ontario or Fontana next door, that documentation protects you long after we leave. We stand behind our work with a 365-Day Done Right Promise: if the finished ADU is not built to the permitted drawings, we make it right, in writing, before your project starts. Nadia Ellery, our owner and principal designer, reviews every guarantee document personally.
What’s Covered
- Workmanship to the permitted drawings. Our crews build what the city approved, not what seemed faster that morning. If the finished ADU deviates from the stamped permit set, the 365-Day Done Right Promise activates, and we correct it at our expense.
- Parts and material handling with traceability. We specify and coordinate prefab and modular systems from Abodu, Cover, Dvele, Mighty Buildings, Boxabl, Plant Prefab, Tuff Shed, and James Hardie, and we document what arrives, what gets installed, and what the photo record shows. You receive that evidence, not a summary of how it felt.
- Site condition and daily cleanup. ADU site prep in Rancho Cucamonga often means working around existing hardscaping, mature oak root zones, or sloped lots in the foothill zones near the San Gabriel Mountains. We photograph site condition at arrival and departure every day, so there’s no dispute about what state we found or left.
- Scheduled arrival windows, not vague promises. Our technicians are background-checked and uniformed, and they show up when stated. If we’re delayed by a Rancho Cucamonga permit inspection hold or a Southern California Edison utility coordination, we tell you the same day, with the revised date in writing.
- Honest pricing locked at signing. Under Haven Standard Clause 5 (No Surprises), the scope is locked when you sign. The words “call for a quote” do not appear anywhere on our site because they don’t appear in our process. Your written price covers design, permitting, construction, and final inspection coordination for your garage conversion ADU, new detached ADU, junior ADU, interior conversion, or site prep and utilities package.
- Free Second Opinion on any written estimate already in hand. If another contractor gave you a scope and price for your Alta Loma property, we’ll review it line by line, tell you what we see, and quote our own fixed price if you want one. No charge for the review.
Our Satisfaction Promise

If something’s not right, we fix it. That’s the entire process.
Here’s how it works in practice. During construction, you receive a documented photo record on every visit: what the crew found, what they did, and what the next visit covers. These photos go to you directly, not into a black hole. If you spot something that doesn’t match the permitted drawings or the written scope, you call (909) 506-1121. A live person answers, 24 hours a day. No voicemail queue, no callback promise that doesn’t materialize.
We schedule a site review within 48 hours. Nadia Ellery or a senior project lead walks the issue with you, compares it to the permit set and the written scope, and determines whether it’s a deviation. If it is, we correct it. If it’s a design question you want adjusted, we quote the change separately, in writing, before any additional work begins. No hidden charges, no pressure.
The 365-Day Done Right Promise covers the full year after final inspection and certificate of occupancy. In Rancho Cucamonga’s climate, that means we’ve seen you through a complete summer heat cycle and at least one winter rain season. If the roof assembly, waterproofing, or mechanical systems show installation-related issues during that window, we return and make it right. The promise is backed in writing before your project starts, not offered as an afterthought when something goes wrong.
Our documented photo record becomes your evidence if you ever need to reference original conditions. Foundation depth, existing slab thickness, utility tie-in points, fire separation assembly details - we photograph and label them. When a homeowner in the North Cucamonga district needed to verify setback compliance for a future property line adjustment, they had our photo record from 2019 with the tape measure in frame. That’s the kind of boring but load-bearing detail that saves someone six weeks.
Before
AfterLicensed & Insured Backing
A guarantee is only as solid as the company behind it. Ellery ADU Studio Rancho Cucamonga is licensed and insured, which means there’s a real policy, a real bond, and a real regulatory body that can verify our standing. We don’t treat this as a checkbox. It’s the financial backbone that lets us honor the 365-Day Done Right Promise without asking you to trust our good intentions alone.
Our license number appears on every page of our site and on every written contract. You can verify it with the California Contractors State License Board. Our insurance covers general liability and workers compensation, so if a technician is injured on your property in Rancho Cucamonga, or if an unforeseen condition causes damage during excavation, the claim runs through our policy, not your homeowner’s insurance.
We’ve operated as a design-build studio since 2015, which means we’ve carried this coverage through multiple insurance market cycles and regulatory changes. That continuity matters. A fly-by-night operator can promise anything; we’ve been here long enough to know what promises actually cost to keep, and we price them into every written quote accordingly. When Nadia Ellery signs your contract, she’s signing as the owner who will answer the phone if you call at 10 PM with a concern, and as the principal designer who specified your ADU’s structural system. There’s no corporate layer to hide behind.
The Haven Standard governs every project: written price before work starts, documented photo record on every visit, and the 365-Day Done Right Promise backed in writing. That’s not a slogan. It’s the operating system we’ve run since 2015, through 900 ADUs, in Rancho Cucamonga and across the 15 cities we serve. Call (909) 506-1121 to schedule your free estimate, or bring us any written estimate you already have for a free second opinion.
